Good analysis. My only quibble is that top shelf talent, at least in films, actually seem to be losing their "total box-office draw", even if obviously the bargaining power of the super elite talent is still quite large proportionally. Think of Tom Hanks or Brad Pitt: having them in a movie today is no guarantee of box office success, unless you increase the chances by making the release a franchise or re-boot, but having these actors in a movie( even a mid-budget one) in the 1990s or 2000s had better odds of being profitable( yes, I know Tom Hanks and Brad Pitt have not been in these types of franchises that much in recent years, but still).

Also, it seems that like with your example of the reviews at the top of the page, it seems new actors find it harder to build up "star power", and older stars who are already known and have long careers simply become bigger largely because "they were there first", like Tom Cruise.
